Tishk International University (TIU) is seeking a motivated and academically qualified Research Assistant to join the Civil Engineering Department.

The successful candidate will support academic staff in research activities, laboratory work, data collection and analysis, preparation of research materials, and other academic and departmental activities.

Recent graduates of the TIU Civil Engineering Department, particularly graduates from the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 academic years, are highly preferred.

• Assist academic staff with ongoing research projects and research activities.
• Support data collection, data entry, analysis, and preparation of research materials.
• Assist with laboratory activities, experiments, and technical documentation.
• Conduct literature reviews and support the preparation of academic and research reports.
• Assist in preparing research papers, presentations, and project documentation.
• Support student projects and departmental research activities.
• Maintain accurate research records, files, and documentation.
• Perform other relevant academic and research duties assigned by the department.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Graduates of the TIU Civil Engineering Department are preferred.
• TIU graduates from the 2024–2025 or 2025–2026 academic years are highly preferred.
• Strong academic background and good knowledge of core Civil Engineering subjects.
• Good command of English and effective communication skills.
• Good computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of relevant Civil Engineering, GIS, data analysis, or research software is an advantage.
• Strong interest in academic research and professional development.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a team.
